As of now, the Children's Congress is only held every two years, so you'll have to wait until 2011. Unless, of course, we could drum up enough interest in a 2010 Juvenation Type 1 Convention. (Yes, Alyssa???? I'm talking to you :)
Oh my gosh, Paul, that "i'm talking to you" thing made me CRACK UP!! I'm game. I'd looooove to go for 2010 :) Is 1 enough interest? Haha we should start a post and see how many people would go for it

Paul,
you are like the 4th person to say something like a type 1 convention. HMMMMmmmMMM A couple of people personally emailed me about it as well. I think we may be onto something!
I can't think of any convention center which would be large enough to accommodate it. Can you imagine how many companies would want to exhibit in the exhibition center? This, of course, would be a hugest source of revenue.
Here is the list of the LARGEST Convention Centers in the US. Let's take a vote:
CONVENTION CENTER City Size (sq. ft.)
1. McCormick Place Chicago 2.2 million 2. Orange County Orlando 2.05 million Convention Center 3. Las Vegas Las Vegas 1.94 million Convention Center 4. Georgia World Atlanta 1.37 million Congress Center 5. Kentucky Exposition Center Louisville 1.29 million 6. Sands Expo & Center Las Vegas 1.13 million 7. Ernest N. Morial New Orleans 1.1 million Convention Center 8. Dallas Convention Center Dallas 1.02 million 9. Pennsylvania Farm Show Harrisburg 1 million Complex & Expo Center 10. George R. Brown Houston 930,000
I vote we go with the largest, the more diabetics the better :) And, since the number of people in attendance is limited, we could always to sign-ups, you know? So there aren't more people that show up than the convention center can fit it :) What time frame do you guys think this would be pulled off? I am excited :)
