I'm in the Princeton area but I was a kid almost 40 years ago. LOL!. You should know I have the opposite problem. Too many parents of kids with Type 1 diabetes.
Hi my son is now 12 and was diagnosed at 8. We live in Nutley and the school nurse was clueless as well. We had to educate her. Last year another child was also diagnosed in his school. We took a day trip to Camp Nejeda a few years ago and met a lot of great people..it is in Stillwater NJ..unfortunatley its kind of expensive.
I went when i was 8 and it was the best time in my life. I am 28 now. I went to camp NEJEDA

I am sure he’s not. I went to a t1d camp in nj. It was great you should look in to it.
