Jamie, I can totally relate. Last month I caught a cold from somebody at work and I was still feeling the effects three weeks later, not three days later like everybody else! My labs were only "elevated" with the Hashimoto's but now it's been determined to be hyperthyroidism. So far so good though :)
Whitney was your Hypothyroidism in connection with a pregnancy. I was hypo after my daughter was born, and when I had my second daughter it just corrected it's self. I had never heard anyone else coming of then medication before unless it was around a pregnancy. From what I've learned it's not uncommon for pregnancy to have this effect on people.

Definitely not. I was diagnosed with it when I was 13. I took the medication, and then one morning forgot, and then not taking it became a habit. After being told that my thyroid levels were fine, they said it was okay that I wasn't taking it anymore. My doctor keeps monitoring my thyroid levels, but they're still okay.
