I have been on MDI for a little over a year using Apidra but due to insurance coverage changes I am now having to use Humalog. I feel like I am starting back at square one as far as insulin:carb ratios, when to take the injection, etc. Overall I feel like they should act about the same but my blood sugars have said otherwise the last few days. Anyone had experience with both that could shed some light on the similarities and differences?
I wish i could help but ive been on novolog my whole life since taking shots, I would like to learn about this too.
