the books are good..the movie for interview of a vampire was decent. queen of the damn, the book was completely re-written..half of it is changed in the movie. books to movie = suckage.

that's true, but more often than not the movie is never as good as the book because you miss out on SO much information they either can't fit into the movie(cuz it will be too long) or they can't figure out how to add to the movie(like what a character is thinking, etc)
I read a lot of books, and I always hate it when they're made into movies. When I'm reading the story, it plays out in my mind like a movie, and I imagine what characters look like and all of this stuff, and then the movies ruin what I had imagined. They also usually leave a lot of stuff out, like Batts said.

I know what you mean.. Twilight personally got me angry because I thought of Edward as the perfect guy and then I saw Robert P. Nothing personal to him, but he just doesnt seem that handsome..at all... adn he doesnt seem to like his fans.. at all..
although I do think they made the right choice with Jacob, Alice, Jaspe, And Rose.. minusing those guys, the movie kind of killed my fantasy of twilight
yeah. Eragon is a good example of this, the book was amazing, but the movie skipped out like 900 important details, and missed 2-3 cities

I haven't read or seen either Twilight or Eragon lol. I'm not a fan of fantasy, so I'm not interested in them. My sister likes Twilight, though, and I've heard her say the same things about the movie.
