O wait i have one but dont use it the sticky thing irritating my skin i had to go to the er
I have a cgm but don't use it alot because I have difficulty getting it into my body and the numbers aren't always accurate. Many times it's so far off, I don't trust it. Just today, the cgm said I was 206 and I did a finger stick and it was 92. That's why I test so much, then take a correction if needed.
My daughters (age 10) last one was 8.5. I expected worse but we are dealing with puberty and insulin resistance along with it.
my last a1c was a 6 but that was in september

My 2.5 year old daughter's a1c was 6.9 back in November.

Hmm that's strange that your cgm isn't very accurate..I have one and wear it from time to time, but it is pretty spot-on most of the time. There are so many factors when it comes to diabetes management, I suppose.
My last was on 12/13 and it was a whopping 9.0 (where is the paper bag to put over my head?)

my last a1c at the beginning of Dec was 8.5, but that's only 0.3 points up from the previous one and I usually bounce between 8.2 and 8.4 anyways. bumped up my carb ratio as I was having more highs than usual. so far it's working..we'll see in March when I go again.
Batts, My sugars are also very high but most of the time up and down.
i don't do a lot of big bg swings, i stay pretty steady in the 7 to 12 area and rarely go before 6, but i was having more spikes up to 20+ than usual before my last a1c
