Sarah... those r really good :)

when i run i always goo high.. i dnt understand ?!

When I run I tend to go low if anything. When I go, I check first. If I'm under 200, I don't do any correction. If I'm over 200, then I do about 1/3 of my correction. I set my basal rate to -50% for 2.5 hours, go running for 30 minutes, and then just make sure to check every hour or so for the 3 hours after I get back from running. This has worked really well for me. I drop really quickly though, so if I'm under 180 before running, I make sure to have a small carb/protein snack before going.

Amber, maybe the adrenaline makes you go up?  When I first started running I went high, too, but now I go really low.  Today I was 37 post-run and I couldn't tell >_<  What Sarah said are good ideas.

I don't want to know what my averages are now...but I will look anyway.

7 day average (41 numbers): 139

14 day average (90 numbers): 146

30 day average (200 numbers): 143

Not as good as I would have liked, but oh well.  The numbers I get during school are on a separate meter so those might affect the averages some.

Which meters go back past 30 days?  I believe mine only averages
back to 30 days.

One Touch Ultra Smart gives averages for 7, 14, 30, 60, and 90 days as well as for time of day (before & after each meal & night).
