What Was the Last Thing You Read?

I don't care if it's a book, magazine, newspaper, blog, street sign, whatever....  what are you reading?

I am finishing up the last couple of chapters of Born to Run:  A Hidden Tribe, Superathletes, and the Greatest Race the World Has Never Seen by Christopher McDougall.  I've recently taken up running, and am doing my first half-marathon in May, so I possibly find this topic more interesting than most.  It just came out last year, and I think it's a really good read.  And it definitley gets me motivated to get my butt to the gym.  :)

I just read Wicked a couple of months ago.  :)

Wicked was incredibly strange to me, but I still have Son of a Witch to read. It was strange... but I liked it :D

Right now, I'm reading "Lamb or the Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhoold Pal" by Christopher Moore. Absolutely hysterical.

Confessions was good, but i had trouble getting through the middle of it.

I liked Wicked. Son of a Witch wasn't as good, but I still really enjoyed it.

i really like his twist on children's stories.

I just started reading "Filth" by Irvine Welsh..tho I havent had a lot of time to read lately.

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants... I've started over again on the series. Now I'm on the second summer, and I'm reading The Bean Trees for English by Kingsolver. Good book!

Zing!

But seriously, Next by Michael Crichton.

Haha :)

Laughter in the Dark by Vladimir Nabokov for my author thesis paper.  I borrowed my friend's book at rehearsal yesterday - Columbine.  Such a sad story.  Right now I should be reading some writings by Lenin...haha.

Next was about 3 back for me.  I thought it was OK, but not great or even very good.  Then I read Howards's End by E. M. Forster. I liked it better.  Kindof a psychological literature type novel.  Now I'm on All the King's Men by Robert Penn Warren.  Read it in college and am now re reading it.  It's awesome.  The last 2 were Christmas gifts from my mother-in-law.  She's a real bookworm, as is her daughter.

I just finished  "The memory keeper's daughter" Such a good read.

Into the Wild  by Jon Krakauer....amazing :)

The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

Currently reading "Dorothy And The Wizard In oz" to my boys at bedtime.

Personally, the last one was "A Lick Of Frost" by Laurell K. Hamilton (#6 in a series, waiting for #7 to arrive)

The Kite Runner

Def best book I ever read

The Secret Man by Bob Woodward-the background of Watergate has always fascinated me, I found this recently in a used book store

Life of Pi by Yann Martel - very entertaining read

If you like The Kite Runner, you'll also like A Thousand Splendid Suns.  Same author, same idea, but from a woman's perspective.
