Since Thanksgiving is coming up in a couple of days, lets write what we are thankful for!
i'm going to participate even tho my thanksgiving was last month =p
my family, my bf, my friends, my job, my cats and you guys =P
for the DOC and for those i love and who love me. :o)
I am thankful for life, my family and friends, my community and God.
I'm thankful for my family, friends, having a job, good health, and having health insurance (which helps out with the "good health" thing... heh).
I am thankful for my entire family, especially our beautiful son. I am thankful for our support system and the strength that God gives us to deal with hurdles that we seem to jumping over a lot. I am especially thankful for being a Family Mentor for the JDRF, it is a wonderful honor and makes me feel great when I help others. I will be even more thankful when they pass the SDP bill! :)

I am thankful for hugs from my son
I am thankful for the nights where our son is not high or low
I am thankful that he is strong and counts his carbs, calculates insulin and knows nutritional labels (all with supervision)
I am THANKFUL and BLESSED that even with our son being type 1 and ADHD (which causes a learning disability with reading and comprehension, he has managed to stay on honor roll for 3 years straight.
I am THANKFUL for having the best nurse at our son's school
I am thankful for all of the little things that make life more special.
I am thankful when my son smiles
I am BLESSED to have super late movie nights with our son. Just staying up and cuddling, watching movies.
I am thankful for Endos
I am thankful for God!

I am thankful for my wonderful family and friends, Juvenation of course, insulin and insulin pumps, art, music, learning, science, dogs, Earth, orchestra, change, my life the way it is, and the choices we all have in how we react and how we can act in general.

I am thankful to be the person not that I am, but that I have become! Many factors, including diabetes, have shaped me to be who I am today!

Oh, and for our first holiday season in our new(ish) house. Can't wait to decorate!

I'm thankful for patience, understanding, love, family, fortune, and medical science.
