I was wondering if anyone has used lantus with the pump (for boluses only). We are going to the Bahamas in June and have had trouble with highs after taking the pump off for swimming and playing at the beach. Adam is 7 and I think it would just be easier to use lantus during that time and put the pump on for any bolus dosing. Our doctor said it should be fine, but to cut back some and do a 75% temp basal for 12 hours after going back on full time. If anyone has any experience with this I would love to hear from you.
