I've never been to a Walmart ... they scare me. I imagine them to be these huge scary dirty places with people who think you have to be fat to get D and lead-laden Chinese products. LOL, sort of kidding. (: I know I'm going to hear it now, but you aren't going to talk me into going to one. (:
Jeff, this may sound a little creepy but plz dont take it that wya.. so i thought of you today because someone in my class over heard me and my friend tlking about my diabetes and she was like how do u have diabetes your not fat your like really skinny and i got like verrrry frustrated and had my friend tell her and it made me think of u cuz i had just commented on ur forum lol
The thing that all of us run into is the fact that some people are just completely misguided when it comes to the differences between those who have type one diabetes and those who have type diabetes. The thing is that while people have a misconception that over weight people have diabetes. This is where we need to be willing to educate people and express ourselves. However, this is where keeping calm and laid back and try to explain things. It might not work all the time or even ever, but we can only try. That is the thing, we can roll our eyes and complain or we can actually say that is a common misconception about persons who have diabetes.... And go from there.
Ok guys so apparently I'm having one of those crazy D days and computer days!!! haha the post I just posted is refering to the one that Since posted above!!! haha :)

Hahaha me either! Pretty much because I don't live near any Walmarts, (and I don't live in a rural area or anything). I've always imagined them to be terribly bright, sterile, gigantic places with no appeal whatsoever. In my mind, not much better than a scary dirty place :)
WHAAAT?!?!?! I've honestly never ever met anyone who has never been to a Wal Mart!! Its a good place, especially on a police salary. haha This site just gets better and better.
