Sex and Diabetes

This is my new favorite forum.  No question.  It needs to be rekindled hahaa

I go low.  I've experienced my most severe lows after sex, actually.  I've been trying to get approved for my CGM, but they want to see more lows.  Maybe I should find a man friend.

And don't worry.  It's almost always appropriate to be goofy about sex.... Who wants to be serious and boring?

Hahahahah, I agree with that! I stopped having issues with blood sugar, but now my boyfriend lives in Nebraska for college so I haven't had that problem in a while unfortunately :( hehehe. But I will be sure to watch my BS when he comes home for Christmas ;)

Off-topic, but... Nebraska is the coolest!  :)  GO BIG RED!

But yeah, um, sex, and stuff.

hahahahhahaha Nebraska is pretty cool but Arizona is cooler!!! Not literally, obviously ;) I feel like I am going to have a heat stroke everyday lol

so i just found this and am obviously laughing but i have something else funny to add...my husband likes to try to catch me right before a low cause he says ill be more "kinky" when im going low then afterwards he will obviously take care of the low by getting me some carbs. But i thought i would tell you girls about it and ya'll might get the humor too! But usually i dont go high or low i stay pretty normal.

And yes he knows it could be dangerous thats why we also keep snacks in the bedside drawer ;)

That is so funny! And bizarre hahahah. And obviously dangerous, so be careful!

Maybe the best way to prevent a low during is to add in a bit of... um... flavoring?  Chocolate syrup sounds good to me.  ;)

I tend to drop after…sometimes even during. Most of the time I don’t want to though. Takes forever for me…he’s willing to take the time for me, but all I can think about is how nice it would be just to relax…or watch some t.v. I had the drive of a bunny the first 5 years of marriage…miss those days.

My pic is sideways…ha! I need to fix that…eventually.
