Tonight I had a very scary experience. I was in my bedroom, giving my once-a-day Lantus shot, when I looked down and relized that I had given myself 18units of Novorapid! (similar to Humalog) In the dimness of my bedroom I had grabed the wrong needle! I took 3 boxes of juice and skipped my Lantus shot. Thankfully I did not go low! my bg is 6.1 mmol/L right now :) To all those on needles: always be in a welll lit space and pay attention!
