i got my pump 7 years after i was dx when i was 3 1/2 years old

I don't remember when I started the pump.. I think it was in 2001 so about 26 yrs after being diagnosed.

I got mine after 12 years

I got mine 6 1/2 years after diagnosis.

I was diagnosed February 21st of this year, I got my pump in July.

I waited 8 years after diagnosis, mainly because of fear:  I was afraid of all the tubing and infusion sites and I was afraid of having to explain it to people constantly.  Thank goodness for the Omnipod: no tubing; very discreet.  Perfect for me :-)

i started a couple weeks after; cuz i was doing a research thing; but when i was done & got to get my own pump to keep it had been about a year (:

I just got my pump just before this summer, and I was diagnosed about 2 1/2 years ago. sooo yeah. I dont think it makes a difference for how long you've had diabetes be4 u start pumpin..

I started on the pump 1 month after i was diagnosed with diabetes
