Hi! I’m new here. I’m the wife of a T1D and mom of a T1D also. My husband was diagnosed at 8 and my daughter at 4. We are currently in the process of receiving Mini Med 630g’s for both. Does anyone currently use this pump?

My son started it 3 weeks ago- my advice would be to focus on the pump first and then try the CGM a few weeks after. Depending on how quickly they pick it up. The videos are helpful but really need to have a way of checking in with your endocrinologist the first week so can adjust the basal rates. We noticed afternoon lows the first few days because of the difference in how basal is given versus with the pen.
