I am Type 1, my father is also, Type 1, my grandmother was type 2, and my uncle was Type 1.

All on my Dad's sideof the family.

I'm the only with Type 1. But both sides of my family have thyroid problems including myself and my mom just got diagnosed with Addison's disease 3 years ago...so needless to say there are autoimmune diseases in my family.

As far as I know, I am the only diabetic, type 1 or 2.

I'm the only Type 1. My half-uncle has had T2 for a long time, and my uncle was just diagnosed with T2 about a year ago, despite being physically fit.
