Halloween!

Whats everyone dressing up as tonight, tomorrow or for the really festive both? I am thinking of Quailman.

i wish but im just not in the spirit this year. i blame that fact that 90% of the retailers in this town went straight from back-to-school stuff to christmas stuff and skipped over halloween (they dont make any money with it so i get it).

I'm......

WONDER WOMAN

This is the first year I'm not doing anything :( I have so much stuff to do this weekend so I can't really celebrate it.  Although, I could dress up for orchestra rehearsal tomorrow...Maybe I'll be a sad and moldy reed! lol

Sarah has always celebrated Halloween and candy isn't much a part of it because she didn't like candy much before she was diabetic. But, you should be able to enjoy some candy, as long as you take the insulin to cover it. Sarah loves trick or treating with her big sister. Then she comes back, dumps it all out on the table, gives her sister about 90% of her candy, and we put the rest in the cupboard and she gets to select one piece each day.

Actually, she usually forgets about it within a few days and I end up throwing most of it away. Dressing up and tromping around looking at all the cool costumes is the best part anyway!

Sarah is going to be a "cotton candy girl" this year. Basically she's wearing this super cute little pink and white short 50's dress that she wore when she was a "dancing girl" in the play Guys and Dolls a couple of months ago. We should all post pictures, that would make a great next pictures post!

I agree with C!

*stuffs face with mini chocolate bars* mmmmmm candy!

Riley still enjoys candy!

We went to a Halloween party for the kids at my brother laws house. My boys were Mario and Luigi. My daughter some zombie rocker chick. My husband he had a mullet wig on and camo overalls lol I can think of a few things to call him. I was a witch!

What do you mean can't eat candy!?!? Thats like saying no turkey for thanksgiving. Anyways even skipping the candy, most of the fun in my opinion is seeing everyone dressed up. Lots and lots of fun

I just look at the nutritional information on the candy label, bolus for it, wait a few minutes, and eat.  It doesn't mess with my numbers too much, but I know that may not be the case for everyone.

I dressed up as my insulin pump for a Halloween costume party a couple of weekends ago.  I'm not planning to dress up again tonight, though.

I was Inara, from Firefly/Serenity.

(Oh, and for the candy comments: Halloween doesn't have to be about candy, but I definitely don't pass up on it!!!)

I went out last night and i was a cop! Not very original but next year i think me and my friends are going to be sailor scouts. haha.

I avoided candy almost all together this year, except a few sugarfree reeses peanut butter cups.. i just couldnt resist!
