My best friend wrote an amazing chapter book where the main character is a 10 year old girl with type 1. Through mental health support and a magical journey she is able to manage her diagnosis. It is going to be a series where they tackle type 1 issue and other mental health issues that all kids face. So far it has a five star rating on amazing.
