Today, August 7, 2017 is the 95th anniversary of the first shot on insulin in the United States. It was administered by Dr. Elliot P. Joslin in Boston at what was to become The Joslin Clinic [now Joslin Diabetes Center] the world’s first teaching institution for people with diabetes.
