WOW, finally the Canadian Government is funding 20 million in Research for JDRF. My father, my son Michael, and myself, had the opportunity to attend the Government Announcement yesterday, with JDRF, and othe JDRF families at our local University of Waterloo. Was a very well recieved announcement yesterday.......there were many tears of joy. Singer songwriter Dan Hill attended, as well as many special dignitaries from Parliament, JDRF, and the University of Waterloo. I am so glad to see that the Government realizes the importance of JDRF, and what it stands for. I feel very honoured and priviledged to belong to such a great group of people. After all, JDRF is like extended family. I am grateful for all of them.
