I suppose that being a nerd/geek in itself makes me only have a few friends. They know, but because I never talk about it or I'm open about it when I am, they either forget or don't talk to me about it at all. Well, at least that was my old school. next school year I am going to a high school inside a community college.
hi.
i can relate.. sometimes i just feel like they won't understand or i'll be the "special" one.
well i still have all the same friends them dont see me as the special one they still see me as the same old eric.
my sociy life can sometime get in the way of my diabetes or diabetes get in my way of my life with friend's. I cant do anything with out my brother or my mom or dad going with or if I have a family meber with me. It does get in the way of life but I cant let stop me from going out with my friend's and going places with my youth group and other places
yeah, i know how you feel. i was told by my doctor this summer i had diabetes, only one of my friends understands what i'm going through, bc she is diabetic, too. she is my best friend. but the scarry part for me is what are people going to say at school.
@joes_girl1231 what pump do you have? The majority are waterproof
@Morgan
The minimed pumps are waterproof without the case. I used this pump for a year and a half and swam constantly. I never took it off
That is aweful!!! @Maya-lauren
I dont go to sleepovers either, but I do offer to have the sleepovers at my house so my mom can check me during the night.
