2 lows about an hour apart?

Why? Riley woke up at 150. I gave her her nph 26 units 2 less than on weekdays. I was suppose to give her half a unit of her novolog and forgot. About an hour ago she was at 38 I gave her juice it came up to 91 and then she ate her snack (peanuts). She 10 min ago told me she was hungry and I tested her 68 so I juiced her again now we are waiting ok back to 81. She isnt sick she has not done anything but walked to the bathroom. She didnt have to much insulin or the wrong kind. I dont get why.

low again 63 grr

Sometimes when I get really low it takes a little more carbs than usual to raise my blood sugar and stay up.  Maybe some juice and than 1/2 to a whole peanut butter sandwich will do the trick.  I would call her doc if the lows persist.

she has had 3 juice boxes 2 15 carb snacks and is now eating lunch. Yeah if she stays like this we will call our dne.

ive had those days were i just cant get back up to a normal range but  cereal always brings me right back up

lol She has Cinnamon toast crunch for breakfast. She has been eating all her normal foods today and at the right times so I just dont get it.

She was recently diagnosed right? She is still in her honeymoon phase and her body is probably still making its own insulin at times. The same thing would happen to me back when i was recently diagnosed.

Yes she was dxed 12-15-09. Our DNE said it might be cause she was so much high this morning than normal her pancreas might have kicked on and let some go.

Sigh ... I was high before dinner tonight and I'm still waiting for my normal pancreas to kick in. LOL.

I hope she's feeling better now!

lol I wish every bodies would kick in and stay that way.

Yeah she is. She was mad at everything earlier. I felt bad not being able to get it up and keep it up. After lunch tho it went up into a normal range and staid there.

We have been going through this too, it sucks.  Emmie was diagnosed on 10/29/09.  Only thing I have found lately that works is giving her something quick acting to bring her back up like juice or glucose tabs and a whole grain snack with it like goldfish or toast with peanut butter.  I use to give her something quick acting and then wait 15 minutes test and then give her something whole grain to keep her up but I have found it better lately to do it all at once and then test 15 minutes later.

I have found the honeymoon phase to be very confussing!

It is confusing cause then at bed time last night she was at 356. I so dont get it.
