Type1 for 46 yrs, dx’d when i was 5.
Name is actually Val. I have historically been a defiant diabetic, self care has lacked. I’ve lost an eye, and recently hospitalized for DKA. For the first time in years am attempting to do this “right” and finding many “fails” along the way.
I am on a pump, considering the dex set up in the future, insurance pending.
