I have Type One diabetes which was discovered when I was 15 - a time in life as a teenager when there was little help from the medical community except for how to give yourself insulin-no blood glucose monitors, or pumps, or CGM or education. Today, is so very much better with all the things missing back then is now available plus a lot of research and education available. So, now Type One for 74 years looking to 75 in February 2021. I am very thankful for JDRF and forums like this one.
