Dx’d in 2006. My diabetes started with hyperglycemia around 26 weeks pregnant with my first daughter. Started insulin after very high blood sugar levels found with routine glucose testing. My daughter was born normal weight with slight hyperglycemia. I was confirmed Type 1, three months postpartum with the GAD test.
And now, enough about diabetes and more about ME.

Was a graphic designer for many years for a large corporation. Happiest these days to no longer have a desk job.
