A late bloomer to the diabetes advocacy world, I have successfully managed this beast of a disease for 20+ years.

After going through the denial, the embarrassment, the shame, all that crap, I think I’m finally ready and so willing to stand up and be proud and say, I am diabetic and I want to educate and help anyone know how it is possible to be entirely healthy AND diabetic!
