Howdy!
I was diagnosed with T1D in 2001 at age 11. Diabetes helped set me on a healing path, learning to constantly check in with my body and the empowerment of self discipline. I live in a cabin off-the-grid on a 5 acre permaculture homestead. Tucked in the woods on the Olympic Peninsula. I work for Friends Of The Trees Botanicals with my elder mentor, growing medicinal herbs and wildcrafting plant medicine up in the mountains. I’m passionate about organic farming, herbalism, foraging, being connected to your food and exploring the backcountry. Prone to bad pun jokes. Okay that’s it in a nutshell!
