What's the lowest blood sugar you've had?

2.4

Sarah your words of wisdom made me laugh. My lowest has been in the high teens. I have ended up in the hospital once because of a hypo. I was in college, my roommate did what he could for me. But I wasn't aware enough when I came out of the Hypo to tell the paramedics to leave me. That was one of the worst lows I have ever had. No seizures thankfully, a few black outs. But the past two years have been so much better. i do go low from time to time, but it is never because of the NPH/ Humalog attack. I love my pump.

My lowest was somewhere below 20.....both times happened in the morning and I have no idea why!  I've been trying to figure it out, but right now I'm stumped.  :P  I did have a 33 the other night and I was walking around completely in tune with the world around me.......I was just super cranky!  Yikes.

My lowest was 27 and I was definitely coherent because I'd just answered a question in my social studies class.  I've probably been lower because I've scared my parents a few times and came close to blacking out/having a seizure, and one time I didn't wake up in the morning from a low during the night.  I've never been hospitalized, although when I didn't wake up, my dad should have called 911.

My son was 1.7 a few weeks ago.  Did not even look it.  He's 2.  He was walking around playing with his toys.  He had just gotten up from his nap.  Scared the s out of me.

28. I felt fine. But when the CDE saw it, she wasn't pleased. She would freak on me when it was in the 60s. But I've never had to go to the hospital for a low!

My 3yo daughter was 28 one day while we were out shopping.  The only way I knew it was she told me to stop for a snack.  I dropped in the middle of the department store and tested her and boy was I glad...she hadn't slowed down at all like I've seen her do before.  I'm glad she already knows the feeling.  We just put her on a CGM this week though to see if that will help us some too!

mine was below 20 the meter just said "lo"

The lowest recoded on my meter was 20 but that same week I had another low that was far worse than that one so I assume it was in the teens!  At 20, I was able to get up and get myself something to eat which is amazing to me!!  I did not go to the hospital that same week when it dropped below 20 but I remember thinking that I was not going to make it through this one!  I could barely even chew but I did manage to get something in me!!  I experience highs and lows all day long every day!!  I do not recognize the symptoms ever time anymore and I've checked my sugar while driving and it's been in 30's!  That happens alot!  I function very well with these dangerous lows compared to all of the other diabetics that I know!    It can be scary sometimes though!!

34, and passed away (I lost conscience)

The lowest that I've been was 1.0 in the 1st few yrs after finding out but over the last 7 mo's I have never had so many problems, I've been rushed to the ER 4 times & had 10 more where I've had to leave work because I was feeling so bad after coming back. I have only blacked out twice but never had sizures and thankful for that.

our 5 yr old was 1.8 today. lowest ever. he will usually tell us when he is 3 point something and occassionally 2 point something. never under 2 before. it was a little scary, but he gladly inhaled some candy for me then we had lunch:)

59.

Think 16 or 19 was my lowest.    Sometimes I'd feel normal that low and sometimes I'd be sloppy.

A couple times (more than 10 years ago)  I passed out from lows and needed an ambulance, so who know how low I was then.

I've tested in the teens a few times while fully conscious.

I haven't had any ER visits for lows since my early teens.  I forget what my readings were those times, just that I was apparently asleep and not responding when my parents tried to wake me (not that I remember, of course - just recounting what they told me, lol).
