My son is a High School wrestler and we have been having troubles keeping his levels stable while he is trying to cut/make weight. We have been trying to get him set with a CGM and pump, but current UIL rules for Wrestling state that they can’t have anything protruding from their body. We were trying to just leave the little plastic sensor in and detach the pump.
Has anyone else tried to fight the UIL to get pumps and CGMs accepted? I have tried working through the school and our local UIL office. All other sports allow the participants to wear their devices.
