TIP: You can use an empty Tic-Tac container for your test strip desposal and/or for your lancets.
That sounds helpful, I've always kept it in my meter case.
I use the Accu-chek Compact Plus meter and the test strip drum (17 strips) come in a small canister, so I use that for my used lancets and test strips.

No, it's not good to dump test strips in the garbage. You should be disposing of them in the sharps containers. I guess if you had no other choice that would have to do though?
