Anyone have any experience with gender affirming hormone therapy? How did/does it affect blood sugar management? The friend I’m asking for is a FtM teen with an omnipod, if that makes a difference 
@phoebeee, any time a person is taking a new medicine, it requires more testing and possibly more (or maybe less) insulin. Hormones and steroids can definitely affect a person’s insulin sensitivity. If these, or any medications are necessary, a chat with the prescribing doctor and your friend’s endocrinologist is necessary, and then the only thing to do is to adjust insulin. cheers
