Low During Work Outs!

Hi @zoebray, and welcome to the TypeOneNation Forum!

Almost all types of exercise in which we engage has the potential to affect body glucose level. How much effect exercise varies from person-to-person. so I suggest that you do the exercise you wish and see/document how your body reacts. For me, aerobic exercising, such as walking briskly, bike-riding, etc., will lower my glucose. Anaerobic exercising, such as resistance training, weights, etc., will increase my glucose at least temporally. I also find, that with some of the activities in which I engage, I have a sudden drop in BG as much as 6 or 8 hours after I finish my exercise and have eaten a meal.

Enjoy life, stay active and be alert to how your body reacts.
