Usually we start off in 1st place in the AL East and then choke come mid-May where we lose 2/3 of our games between then and the All-Star Break...this year the suck has started early.
Nothing like being 1-5! We will probably get swept by Tampa Bay this week

The Os should move to another division (not that that's possible). It's hard and somewhat unfair having to compete against the Red Sox and Yankees, and now the Rays, every year.......
We need pitchers. Why we got the Julio Lugo guy, I have no clue...batting a whopping .180. Is he the same Lugo who used to play on the Red Sox? Or am I thinking of someone else?
Either way, the guy I remember for the Sox had an awkward batting stance and just looked terrible in the batter's box. I think he's stuck out the majority of his at-bats for the O's.
To state what I've probably already said here, I can name just about every player (bullpen included) from our '96 and '97 teams. I even was at the ALCS game vs. the Yankees (Game 3) where we lost 5-2. I couldn't name 4 players on our current roster. No one we have had in the recent decade has been kept around long enough to make a name for themselves...minus the baby-faced Brian Roberts.
You would also think that for as bad as they do, the ticket prices would be lower. I just bought tickets for myself and a certain someone for our game vs. the Mets. 2nd row though :)
You'd be better off with Wigginton...he's doing pretty well as far as AVG is concerned. Only 4 K's for the year thus far. We've been outscored 49-29 through 10 games...offensive powerhouse that we are. Ha!
I'd honestly love to have the worst record in baseball. At least you can brag about that...albeit it sucks lol
